Tesa® HAF(Heat-Activated Film) Tape

Heat-Activated Films (HAF) ensure permanent bonding for the most demanding and challenging applications. The combined phenolic-resin / nitrile-rubber adhesive is formulated into a thin film that remains inactive at room temperature. When heat and pressure are applied, the film is activated and extremely high bonding power is created (up to 4,300 PSI). Once cured, the film remains flexible and is resistant to chemicals and aging.  HAFs are suitable for bonding all thermal-resistant materials, such as metal, glass, plastic, wood, and textiles.
